Actor Turned Politician
It happens only in India that a movie actor could capitalize on his popularity in the tinsel world. The people believe him entirely and hope that their hero would speak up for them. Realizing the opportunity, the actor promises the moon to them and achieves his purpose. Much later, it comes to light that he is no better than the other politicians whom they voted against. Still the crafty actor holds these people in his grip with his charisma and keeps promising them that he would live and die for them. After all this is a democratic country and any one can get away with whatever he says.
