Frugal Engineering Marvel
This is an altogether new concept introduced by the TATAs to the whole world. Only The bare minimum that is required to go into a car, to qualify it as a car, from the certifying agencies, has gone into TATA NANO. This is also termed by automobile experts as minimal engineering. For all models only the right rear view mirror comes as factory fitted. The seats are very basic and do not sink deep. The brakes took every one by surprise. They are just ordinary drum brakes that the manufacturers contend that they are adequate for such a small car.
