Gujarat Candidates
Out of the 359 candidates contesting the lok sabha elections 69 candidates have criminal records. A wide range of crimes like murder, kidnapping, attempts to murder and extortions are the merits of these 69 candidates. The political parties know well these are hard core criminals but have sanctioned them seats as they know these men enjoy local popularity and would win. The local people know well that these are criminals but yet vote for them. The people have started admiring criminals and no body seems to have taken notice of this dangerous trend. The people do not realize that they are sealing their own fate.
