Is TATA NANO A Safe Car
Surely a Maruti-800 can not be put to the same crash tests as a Hummer or Land Cruiser. The TATA NANO is in a class of its own as its twin cylinder engine capacity is just 675 cc the lowest when compared to any car manufactured in India. You can not apply the same safety requirements that you would expect in a Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla. Tata had promised that it will be much safer than the two wheeler and test drives have proven that he is right. The only complaint from many quarters is that he could have priced it at Rs.100, 000.
