Mango Jam

Mango is the national fruit of India, and is widely consumed in its season. Mangoes are also used in large scale production of mango pulp and mango jam. Mango jam is really delicious but available only in market. This article is about the preparation of mango jam in a simple procedure. All ingredients required are, green mangoes, jaggery, and salt and chilli powder- a pinch. Grate the mangoes and sauté them till they turn from their greenish white color to translucent. Now add salt and chilli powder. After a minute, add jaggery according to taste and allow the recipe to get the consistency of jam. Mouth watering jam is ready.
