Best way to win a party ticket these days, to contest in the M.P.election is to be a gangster or at least a notorious criminal. Once elected to power he unleashes a reign of terror and naturally crime breeds more crime. His connections with the underworld and other gangsters remain and these criminals enjoy his unfailing support. At times of necessity either to finish of a political opponent or to silence voices of protests these criminals lend a helping hand to the M.P. elected from their clan. This nexus has continued for a long time now and the people are totally helpless about it.
