Recession In The U.S

The American dream lies shattered now. Millions of people have lost their jobs and pink slips are thrust into the hands of the employees daily. 200 year old financial giants like Lehman brothers have gone bust and the auto majors like Ford and General Motors are in the verge of bankruptcy. The CEOs of the large financial companies have paid themselves hundreds of millions of dollars as hefty bonuses and have left the companies in the lurch. The sub prime crisis has triggered a phenomenal economic meltdown. The U.S financial companies have paid a very stiff price indeed for their shameless greed. What now appears to be the only silver lining is president Obama’s pragmatic economic revival package.
